A native Texan, Juniper Tedhams spent her early childhood in Mexico and Central America, environments profoundly inspiring to this day. Known for interiors that are deeply evocative of the past, her perspective, though rooted in history, remains thoroughly modern.

Originally trained as an artist, her design work has been equally informed by over fifteen years in the antiques business. Working with some of the top antiques dealers in Europe, Juniper spent several years in London before opening a shop in New York. A curator’s eye for the unusual and rigorous commitment to quality attracted a loyal following of architects, stylists and interior designers. Commissions followed, which led to the creation of her interior design business in 2004.

Completed projects include private residences throughout the United States and the UK as well as exhibition and gallery design for Wright, a premier auction house specializing in 20th century decorative arts and design. Juniper recently collaborated with perfumer Frédéric Malle, designing the display systems for his new boutique in Rome.

Her work has appeared in Marie Claire Maison, House Beautiful, Martha Stewart Living and Hamptons Cottages & Gardens.

Juniper Tedhams holds a Masters of Fine Art from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
